ABOUT JILLIAN PRUSA

I’m a researcher, consultant, and project manager. I have 10 years of experience working with clients across a wide range of industries, making me an adaptable team member. My main professional interests are: • Problem solving: I love breaking a problem down to its fundamental parts, looking at it from all angles, and analyzing relevant data to put all the parts back together in a better way, addressing needs and resolving issues. Across my experience in insights/market research and political consulting, I’ve enjoyed helping clients, constituents, and customers in many ways. I’ve helped answer questions as broad as “what are the pain points in this product/service and how do we solve them?” and “how do we get this ballot measure to pass?” and as narrow as “what are the most effective data points to include in this press release?” and “which of these consumer metrics is the best to monitor?” • Project management: While I like solving problems, and I like solving problems efficiently even more. I’ve managed projects ranging from small, straightforward data analyses to years-long multi-modal studies. My clients have spanned early-stage start-ups to public agencies to multinational corporations, which has made me adept at functioning in a diversity of environments. I’ve always sought to maximize my and my team’s impact within the limits of our time and budget. • Climate: Climate change isn’t just a problem - it’s the problem. While this is a huge challenge, in it exists opportunities to address broader societal issues and improve everyone’s quality of life. I’m passionate about climate action, and, luckily, I’ve worked on many climate-related projects that I have felt strongly about, on topics such as renewable energy policy, expanding public transit funding and ridership, and promoting regenerative agriculture. My MA in Geography, where I focused on urban sustainability topics, laid a strong foundation for this work, and I’ve continued to build my knowledge and promote change through a climate fellowship program and volunteering in various roles. I’m currently looking for a position where I can utilize my skills and exercise some (if not all!) of my professional interests.
