Born in 1976, I have started my professional career back when linear careers, life-long employment and specialisation where considered the \"thing to do to be successful\" and I was considered a \"Misfit\" as, over the first 20+ years of my career, I have amassed experience in managerial and director level positons in a variety of industries and functional areas.However, in hind-sight, this prepared myself to now being able to step-in almost any kind of company in either a Sales/Marketing or Finance/Administration role and take over a managerial or director role on a temporary basis with very little ramp-up time. My experience, while broad, has mostly been focussed in the context of setting up new lines of business from scratch across different countries and in industries as diverse as SaaS, Hospitality, Industry and, most recently, Education. I have sold in the field, set-up and managed an Inside Sales \"hub\", managed P & Ls and mentored experienced professionals during the process of deciding for advanced executive education. Thanks to my early career stage in Finance and Accounting, as well as my work as an independent professional, I can not only read a balance sheet, but also operate as a Financial Controller.Currently, I am involved in several different projects/assignments, ranging from Interim Financial Controller and Product Manager roles to an entrepreneurial initiative which I aspire shall enable me to leverage my experience and skills towards my goal of having a lasting positive impact in the life of others - ideally in a space related to health, wellbeing and/or sports. I am very driven and results-oriented, yet authentic with a great sense of agency, knowing I am the owner of what happens to me. I consider myself to be fair and able to look at the world through the eyes of others. I am a change catalyst and an integrator who can see both the air and the water in the glass. Mother of two children (14 & 12 years old), German by passport but global by nature, having lived, studied and worked in different countries across Europe and North America. Perfectly fluent in 3 languages (German, English, Spanish) and conversationally fluent in 3 more (Catalan, French and Portuguese).
