ABOUT JOSE NERY

We are human; therefore, we are fallible. My mission is to make it easier for healthcare practitioners to do the right thing and harder for them to do the wrong thing.I am a passionate medication safety practitioner with over a decade of hospital practice experience in both adult and pediatric settings. I have had the opportunity to examine several thousand error reports, participate in several root cause analyses, and contribute to quality improvement processes. I seek to improve medication safety both inside and outside of the hospital through rigorous investigation of medication errors, proactive risk assessment, education of practitioners and students, and involvement in professional organizations.
