ABOUT JUDD PLATTENBURG

For more than 35 years, I built and led Oregon Printing Communications, growing a business grounded in trust, precision, and the belief that communication should do more than inform, it should move people.Entrepreneurship has shaped my entire career. I’ve worked alongside nonprofits, universities, and business leaders not just to produce materials, but to clarify vision, sharpen strategy, and turn ideas into measurable results. My focus has always been on connecting story to strategy and delivering work rooted in quality. I believe great outcomes are driven by thoughtful design; when strategy and design align, communication doesn’t just look right, it performs.Today, I continue that work in collaboration with Promotional Spring while also building First Light Creative Works, a venture centered on visual storytelling, fine art photography, and creative consulting. Whether developing a direct mail campaign, advising on marketing strategy, or creating photographic work that captures a moment in time, I approach each project with an entrepreneurial mindset: thoughtful strategy, strong design, and relationships built for the long term.Outside of work, I am a partner with The Sugarcreek Photography Gallery and an avid paddler who understands that perspective shapes performance, in business and in life.At every stage of my career, one principle remains constant:Great stories build trust.
