I hold the position of overseeing the Data & Analytics Program at the library, encompassing critical areas such as business intelligence and the strategic management of data assets to facilitate the organization\'s transition towards a data-driven approach. Within my current team, I manage a range of pivotal roles including data architecture, data engineering, business intelligence, data governance, project management, and business analysis.My responsibilities are deeply aligned with a core element of the library\'s Digital Strategy, specifically centered around leveraging data for informed decision-making. Our technological infrastructure primarily comprises the Azure cloud platform and PowerBI tools. Notably, we have established a dedicated community of practice focused on business intelligence within the library, aimed at fostering collaborative engagement and enhancing participatory analytical skills.Moreover, I play a pivotal role in supporting a comprehensive data partnership spanning across Ontario, facilitated by a custom-designed survey-based data collection tool developed through Library Impact Ontario. This partnership underscores the library\'s commitment to broader data collaboration and knowledge sharing.Lastly, I am consistently engaged in delivering presentations to and collaborating with senior management. This involvement serves the purpose of enhancing their understanding of how data can be harnessed to elevate customer service standards and overall operational excellence.
