As a Health Educator I support the Macon-Bibb Aligning Community Systems for Optimal Adolescent Health (ACSOAH) Project. ACSOAH seeks to promote optimal health and reduce teen pregnancy rates among vulnerable youth. The project includes the implementation of evidence-based pregnancy prevention curricula such as Making Proud Choices (MPC) paired with positive youth development and trauma-informed educational approaches serving at-risk youth ages 13-19 in the Macon-Bibb county in GA service area. I am responsible for delivering TPP program instruction with fidelity, collecting performance measurement data, and implementing positive youth development activities. In addition, I support community engagement and outreach in multiple settings.
