   As the Chief Financial Officer at Bank Forward, my job is to provide financial and accounting expertise and direction for the Company. I serve as the Company’s primary source regarding accounting principles, financial trends, changing laws, and industry practices. I analyze data and make recommendations to the President regarding the development of competitive business strategies for resource management and operating efficiency. The primary functions of which I am assigned to are the areas of: • Financial Accounting • Managerial Accounting • Internal and External Reporting • Asset/Liability Management • Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures • ESOP Strategies • Internal Controls • Financial Planning and Analysis • Capital Management • Funding Strategies • Holding Company Relations • Tax Forecasting and Exposure Identification • Compliance with GAAP, FDIC, and other regulatory agencies I work closely with the CEO, President, and other members of senior management as well as the Board of Directors in formulating long-term business objectives. I contribute to the development and validation of corporate objectives, plans, and policies. I review and comment on the financial impact of functional goals and programs. Bank Forward is a locally owned, independent community bank offering a full range of financial solutions to people and businesses in 14 communities in North Dakota and Minnesota. With over 240 employees and assets exceeding $870 million, we are large enough to offer a complete set of banking products, yet small enough to really know and understand each of one of our customers.
