As the General Counsel at Tappa, an AI and SaaS Series A startup, I\'m in charge of the legal strategy and execution for the organization\'s global operations and growth initiatives. With over 10 years of experience in technology, business, corporate law, litigation, contracts and deal-making, I bring a business-oriented and creative approach to solving complex legal challenges and creating value for the company and its stakeholders.My core competencies include technology transactions, contract negotiations, AI governance, venture capital, data privacy compliance, IP, risk evaluation and litigation. I have successfully implemented GDPR and US privacy programs, established IP teams and practices to support growth acceleration, and led multiple software licensing, SDK, and SaaS deals. My approach is business centric with an innate ability to tackle and lead entrepreneurial activities, such as business development, VC fundraising, product and customer discovery/validation, etc. I\'m a partner to the C-suite and a tested leader for the legal department, aligning the legal strategy to the overall corporate strategy and empowering my team to deliver high-quality results. My professional philosophy is to never stop challenging yourself and to act as if you\'re a co-founder in all ventures you\'re involved in.
