About Julia Perlingos

With 20 years+ experience in integrated advertising and marketing communications in healthcare, I understand the complexity of time management when developing and executing campaign strategy solutions taking shape in various forms of media and promotions. I consider myself a forward thinker who welcomes challenges to learn new ways of optimizing my skills in a fast moving environment. In my current position, I manage a virtual agency of 6 designers and 2 copywriters to maintain workflow timelines. Collaborating with my marketing team on new development of products and managing Clinical, Regulatory, Medicare Compliance and Legal review, we define the standard in HME products and patient education accredited by The Joint Commission. I build projects from start to finish and launch deliverables at a national scale to over 500 sales representatives and hospital liaisons across the country. Working for the largest HME provider in the industry, my goals and objectives are to continue to stay informed in the ever changing world of marketing and advertising in healthcare, and bring new ideas to the table with the right tools that result in successful sales growth margins. As the chair of PR Director and Event Planner for Advertising and Production Association of Orange County (APAOC), it has been a great experience to be a part of this organization. This year our first event in January was a record for attendance, we sold out! APAOC brings education, networking and career building to our community. My role is to bring more exposure to our events and meet new contacts in the industry to join our community and be contributors. I have created a network of valuable consultants in Orange County and abroad, who have worked with me over the years and I attend conventions and expos on interactive, social media tools, branding, advertising and educational seminars in digital and print media with some of the most talented speaker panels in the country.
