   Currently overseeing a cloud infrastructure engineering team for a public sector client. Team responsibilities include configuring and managing AWS accounts and networking infrastructure, as well as operating self-hosted solutions for monitoring and identity and access management.Architected a flexible, modernized, multi-tenant AWS network spanning accounts within an AWS Organization. Integrated AWS best practices and cloud-native tooling to enable increased bandwidth, reliability and IPv6 support while reducing operational overhead and meeting stringent security requirements. Implemented this design through IaC. Closely coordinated with stakeholders across the agency to migrate legacy networks into the new architecture.Designed and built a declarative cloud infrastructure management pipeline leveraging IaC, GitOps, and containerized pipeline runners. Enhanced this with a workflow orchestration service powered by Temporal, fully integrated with Jira. Matured workflow automation to shorten a request from several days to within hours.Led a small engineering team operating and maintaining a multi-tenant container platform built on top of EKS Kubernetes clusters. Team duties included onboarding and supporting tenants, alongside conducting all operations and maintenance activities necessary to keep clusters, nodes and deployed services up to date. Developed automation to streamline these processes.
