ABOUT JEAN-PIERRE DESBENOIT

I have both IT and OT cultures. I started in the Telecommunication business where during 21 years I held various positions from electronic and software design to software team management and radio department management. This is the \"IT\" part. Then I joined Schneider Electric where I leaded the electronic and software research, and then managed a team working on advanced projects about communication technologies in the Corporate Innovation Department. This is the \"OT\" part. As a natural evolution, I am working since 2014 in the Industry & Government Affairs corporate team where I have the mission to support the digitization move of our industry, in particular IoT with the so-called \"IT/OT convergence\", where my dual culture is very useful. Specialties: Radio product development, embedded software, telecommunication system architecture, collaborative research projects, R&D management, wireless technologies, IoT, standardization.
