Having wrestled with improving the reliability of our on-premise infrastructure, I thought it would be good to see if I could do the same with infrastructure on customer premises. There\'s a small problem though. AWS EC2 doesn\'t have infrastructure on customer premises yet. So, step one is to get some infrastructure on-site. enter AWS Outposts: https://aws.amazon.com/outposts/. To lift from our product page:\"AWS Outposts bring native AWS services, infrastructure, and operating models to virtually any data center, co-location space, or on-premises facility. You can use the same APIs, the same tools, the same hardware, and the same functionality across on-premises and the cloud to deliver a truly consistent hybrid experience. Outposts can be used to support workloads that need to remain on-premises due to low latency or local data processing needs.\" I consider this one of the most significant announcements that AWS has made since we announced EC2. If you want to be part redefining the Cloud, then reach out to me. We\'re building a strong team to take on this new challenge.
