   This position works out of our Lake County or Chicago (Willis Tower ) location in the Digital Technology Services (DTS) which is the global IT services team support digital. The IT Director, Global Digital & eCommerce will be responsible for leading a global software engineering organization within Business Technology Solution’s (BTS) Digital Technology Services function. This position will also be responsible for successful delivery, management, and support of a portfolio of$20-30MM annually of large-scale programs and projects on a global basis across one or more of our divisions. This role is accountable for contributing to and executing on a clear strategic vision providing best-in-class Digital & eCommerce solutions and building an agile minded culture to meet our Digital product strategy.This role will be responsible for the entire application lifecycle, including working with customers to understand their requirements, lead on development, and ongoing support and enhancements and will be responsible for the management of delivery leads, onshore/off shore development team, business analysts, contract resources and 3rd parties ensuring that delivery management office and software lifecycle processes including appropriate issue and risk management tasks are undertaken and commitments met to customers.This position will proactivity partner with both corporate functions, and commercial divisions to develop, implement and support ongoing digital media tools and applications for corporate functions, affiliates and divisions ensuring that current and future trends and capabilities are identified and captured so that solutions developed take account of industry best practice and emerging internet trends globally and will facilitate cross divisional groups to share and leverage knowledge and trends.
