ABOUT JOY IKEKHUA

I am a dedicated advocate leveraging my cross-cultural background growing up in the U.S. and Nigeria to drive social and economic impact. Passionate about turning vision into action, I specialize in designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative, data-driven initiatives that improve organizational efficiency, expand access to opportunities, and create lasting impact in communities. With over five years of experience managing programs in fast-paced environments, I have led high-impact engagement initiatives, organized large-scale forums with 600+ participants, and collaborated with diverse stakeholders to broaden organizational reach across multiple U.S. states. Currently, I am pursuing an MPP at Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on business and government policy to develop solutions that foster inclusive growth and economic mobility. I am particularly interested in opportunities that bridge policy, business, and social impact, particularly in areas like economic development, affordable housing, and community resilience across the U.S. and the African continent. When I’m not working on impact-driven projects, you can find me reading Nigerian fiction, experimenting with 35mm disposable photography, or exploring innovative housing solutions to strengthen communities worldwide.
