ABOUT JOYEETA BHATTACHARYA

Hi, I’m Joyeeta.A product development–focused fashion professional with a foundation in textile design, now based in the UK, and recently graduated with an MA in Luxury Fashion Brand Management from Nottingham Trent University.I work across the full product lifecycle—from sourcing and sampling to production and delivery—bringing together craft, design, and execution. But beyond titles, I believe something simple:Craft deserves care,Handmade matters, and design means nothing without the story behind it. 2017• My journey began at NIFT, India’s premier fashion institute 2020• Worked with brands like Welspun, Meroform, House of Fett, Qwirk Store, Ankita Arya, and more—translating concepts into textile and product outcomes 2021–2022• Led textile design and production at the Smritivan Earthquake Memorial Museum—now UNESCO-recognised• Delivered large-scale installations and coordinated across multiple stakeholders including artisans, engineers, and production teams 2023• Developed and launched an embroidery course on TopMarks, now used by learners globally 2024 — A year of building• Before moving to the UK, I spent 8 months developing AZRAQ with block print artisans of Kutch—working closely on textile development, garment construction, and end-to-end execution of the collection. 2025• During my MA, I expanded AZRAQ into a full brand and product experience—combining product development, storytelling, and positioning within contemporary luxury.I completed the project with a High Distinction.Alongside this,• I worked across premium UK events, including the Formula 1 Paddock Club, managing high-pressure operations• Built operational discipline at Frasers Group, achieving 98–99% accuracy in high-volume inventory workflows-Why I share my process To show the real parts of design—the experiments, the mistakes, and the small wins. Not perfection, but permission.Permission to begin, to learn, and to build something meaningful. I’m particularly interested in roles at the intersection of product, storytelling, and brand—where craft, design, and consumer experience come together. If you’re building something with intention—a role, a collaboration, or a vision rooted in craft and culture— I’d love to connect.
