Provide high quality consultation to management across the organization on strategies and approaches to manage complex employee issues.• Conduct employee investigations independently or in liaison with internal Branch Audit team in accordance with Company standards; professionally documenting findings and recommendations for appropriate resolution for review by Senior Leadership while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.• Oversee and support management team with performance management activity including: performance issues, progressive discipline/corrective action up to and including termination. This includes creating and/or reviewing documentation to support performance discussions.• Partner with other teams within human resources to leverage employee relations insights to enhance training programs, onboarding, talent acquisition, rewards, culture.• Manage communication with employees on leave of absence and facilitate return to work plans.• Coordinate with management team on Health & Safety matters including workplace injury situations.• Coordinate any health & safety requirements and participate on JHSC to ensure consistency.• Assist employees and management with the interpretation of Company policies and respond to inquiries and concerns.• Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to management to enhance their people management capability.• Facilitate onboarding for new hires and coordinate any training needs as required.• Ensures compliance with employment legislation in all provinces.• In conjunction with the Director, HR, facilitate the annual performance appraisal process along with strategic succession planning for their assigned client group.
