About Joycelyn Fankhouser
After 25 years of experience in child protection I have applied those social work skills to helping those affected by a disaster. I am an emergency management professional with expertise in sheltering, volunteer and donations management. I have first hand knowledge of disasters after living through the 2013 Nationally declared flood in Boulder County. Experience with FEMA, DOLA, community planning process, sheltering, Red Cross, VOAD, exercise planning and execution, agency continuity of operations and emergency planning, group facilitation and process development and improvement planning.
