ABOUT JOYCE C. LOMBOY
Hi! My name\'s Joyce and I’m currently pursuing an Honours Applied Psychology degree in Human Behaviour at McMaster University, specializing in Early Childhood Education (B.A.Sc). My passion lies in working with children and exploring the intersections of mental health, addiction, and physiology.I’m deeply interested in how I can incorporate the values of my personal faith, along with my interests in mental health, to positively and intentionally impact lives. My journey in fitness/powerlifting also plays a role. It not only taught me the importance it has towards mental health, but has opened my eyes to how incredibly significant small progress is. Excellence lies in the mundane moments of the journey. As a result, I have become an advocate for helping others become the best versions of themselves one step at a time.These passions have led me to pursue my ultimate goal of working in the rehabilitation field! In the meantime, I am actively looking for part-time opportunities related to human behaviour and/or children to gain practical experience and serve my community.
