I help the clinic director and colleagues with many projects, including- Writing, researching, and revising medical journal articles - Presenting at conferences and meetings; creating scientific posters - Peer review of academic articles related to reproductive health and rights- Researching and writing content for various medical websites (Obstetrics/Gynecology)- Specifying website design and features; working with web designers - Maintaining four websites related to reproductive rights: News, Myths, Books, Care Denial- Editing and proofing scientific papers and theses written by ESL researchers - Revising and editing brochures, presentations, abstracts, etc- Checking translations from German to English - Press releases and media workPAST- Origin of belief-based care denial in health care: coordinated research project, recruited team members, interviewed subject matter experts, drafted academic article, etc- Documentary film “Abandoned”: Creative input, researched/guided content, selected/located interviewees, arranged interviews and wrote interview questions, reviewed early film drafts, translated and edited subtitles, media work.
