   Telesec Answering Service

   Jun 1989 — Present

   In the beginning I was just hired to answer phones part time because I was in school, So I answered telephone calls for many different companies/organizations/agencies. I took and relayed them to the proper person. handled emergency calls for Dr\'s and Clinics. Once I finished school I went to work for Feather River Roofing part time and worked at Telesec full time. I helped the owner of Telesec Answering Service go to the first computerized answering service equipment. I even co signed on the loan for her. She decided to retire shortly after that and offered to sell me the company, after managing Telesec for about 6 years I decided to purchase the business in and we moved the service from Percy Ave.that building no longer exists, but we were in the old Honeywell Building. After purchasing the business we moved to Polora Ave and then five years later we moved to 1290 Lincoln Rd Ste 4 and we have been here for almost 9 years and do not plan on moving again. We recently upgraded our system to the Startel softswtch, and purchased a generator that is bigger than my car 30kw installed by Samuel Welding, Bud hooked us up to natural line from the city. The Electrical work was done by Richall Electric. So I have no intention of ever moving again. I would rather buy the building. Most important I use Robert Thomas from Solutions from Knowware as out IT Tech. I\'d be lost without him with all this high tech stuff that I don\'t know about. I use ATT and Skystream Broadband to get all those calls to us. We are members of Snug, ATSI and all of our agents go through HIPAA training. All client information is confidential. We can build personalized templets to meet your needs. We do not do telemarketing or order taking. Our system is capable of producing many different reports. We have voice logging.
