Published a white paper that explores the progression of innovations in Reinsurance Contract Wording technology over the past decades: from the early word-processing drafting stages, to the “unplugged” era, through our more recent innovation and integration of Artificial Intelligence (“AI”). I created a “smart” Contract Review and Analysis Application that can assist in the analysis of legal agreements (i.e, slips, draft contracts, confidentiality agreements). The analysis provides advisory comments to the underwriter on clauses that may generate negotiation with the intermediary and/or cedant. I\'ve enhanced this role throughout the world-wide Underwriting Operations department. Several years ago, I found the need to automate the contract analysis via the automated contract review to simplify the way we work to reach better outcomes. This way of reviewing contracts was well received, so please feel free to contact me if you\'d like more details. I\'ve took this automated contract review several steps further by creating an application that automatically provides a partial review of various Reinsurance Contracts and Non-Disclosure Agreements; and is also used to help ensure data integrity for database entries necessary for company-wide reporting. The automated contract review helps to avoid the time consuming, page-by-page review of documents and produces much faster results than a manual review - all without sacrificing accuracy.
