My future academic focus will include applied mathematics, optimization, and quantitative justice—using mathematical tools to address social and systemic disparities.My experiences bridge STEM, leadership, and the arts. I have conducted research in mathematical modeling, taught and tutored mathematics across levels, and served in leadership roles that empower and uplift others. Beyond academia, I direct and assist with pageants, coordinate and present at major leadership conferences, and continue my lifelong love for dance as a performer and instructor.I am passionate about equity in STEM, interdisciplinary collaboration, and creating spaces where people can grow in confidence, skill, and purpose. The annual HBCU Kings & Queens Conference is a national leadership summit for student royalty across Historically Black Colleges and Universities. I contribute to a positive, professional environment that ensures a high-quality experience for HBCU student leaders from across the country.In my role, I- Create the official voting survey for the Royal Academy Awards and ensure accurate logistics from launch to final tabulation- Manage on-site registration, greeting attendees, troubleshooting check-in issues, and maintaining a welcoming and organized entry process- Pack and assemble conference bags with branded materials, schedules, and giveaways to enhance the participant experience- Support program execution and day-of logistics, adjusting quickly to meet real-time needs.
