I lead the healthtech practice at Carex, where we help pre-seed through Series D healthtech companies hire across customer success, product, sales, and technical roles.Our sweet spot is partnering with companies building EHR-integrated platforms, particularly those looking for former Epic talent. We’re based in Madison, with Epic right in our backyard, and have been working with Epic candidates for years. My lead recruiter is ex-Epic, so when candidates start throwing around Epic acronyms, we know exactly what they’re talking about and, more importantly, how to translate that experience into what you actually need.If you’re an early-stage founder, you likely don’t have HR or a recruiter yet. A Series B behvioral healthtech partner had a senior data engineer role open for months; we sent four candidates, and they hired in 12 days.Before recruiting, I spent nine years in pharmaceutical sales, working closely with physicians in both rural and metro settings. After a sabbatical as a stay-at-home mom, I knew I wanted to remain in the healthcare ecosystem. With my background in communication and relationship-building, healthtech recruiting was a natural fit and a way to stay grounded in mission-driven work. I’m based in Madison, but our work is coast to coast.
