ABOUT JOY HOARD
I have had a rewarding 22-year career as a Clinical Dietitian in diverse clinical settings. I remain deeply interested and enthusiastic about the ever changing and progressing field of dietetics. However, I have become equally passionate about the education and training of dietitians and other health professionals. My expertise in this area has grown over the past 11 years through my progressive involvement with the HHS dietetic internship program as preceptor and internship advisory committee member. My knowledge of health sciences education research, pedagogy, curriculum design, e-learning, interprofessional education and leadership was expanded during Master of Health Science Education program. I am ready to take on new challenges and apply my experience, knowledge and skills in health science education to shaping the health professions education of the future.
