Key achievements include:\\\\n• Promoted within a year to manage an Assistant Procurement Manager. Scope to potentially expand my direct reports from 1 in the future and lead a larger team. In late November, I will step in as interim Senior Procurement Manager (SPM) for the whole category for 3 to 4-months whilst the current SPM is on a placement.\\\\n• Realized an average 39% saving across my projects since joining the business.\\\\n• Secured a 75% total saving on our data cataloguing project by executing a competitive tender amongst our panel of consultancy suppliers (whom I manage) and achieved a 62% annual saving through contractual re-negotiation of a confidential subscription service within RMG.\\\\n\\\\nResponsible for the Consultancy and Audit categories, key accountabilities include but are not exclusive to:\\\\n• Develop and execute procurement strategies for my own categories whilst providing ad hoc support as needed across other categories such as Marketing, Data, Financial Services and HR.\\\\n• Apply procurement expertise and robust analytical skills to bring historic spend, stakeholder requirements and supply market information together in the development and implementation of category strategies, sourcing plans and activities to deliver benefits within defined time scales.\\\\n• Lead contract negotiations and tender activities across both high and low value projects to agree competitive commercial terms with suppliers.\\\\n• Maintain awareness of, comply with and contribute to the further development of the procurement policies and processes.\\\\n• Identify, manage and/or escalate compliance and commercial risks as appropriate, such as in relation to sanctions, off-payroll working legislation, anti-bribery, financial stability etc.\\\\n• Mentor and coach several procurement colleagues across various categories to support their personal development and improve their procurement experience and skills.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
