As an Automation Engineer, I take on a multifaceted role throughout the project lifecycle, with core responsibilities spanning PLC software development, commissioning, and project management.Specialising in Rockwell Automation technologies, I design and develop process-based PLC software for Allen Bradley Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs). My primary focus is on system integration for clients in the food industry, where I create detailed documentation during the development phase to ensure the long-term maintainability and reliability of the systems we deploy. This development process typically includes not only PAC software but also SCADA system design and implementation.When a project advances to the commissioning phase, I lead the execution of critical tasks to ensure the machinery delivers the expected product volume and quality, aligning with customer requirements. Post-commissioning, I provide comprehensive training to operators and maintenance teams to enhance system maintainability and optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Throughout the project lifecycle, I act as the team lead, overseeing key project aspects and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure the final product is delivered within the defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. This is achieved through effective coordination within our cross-functional team, setting realistic milestones to keep projects on track, and ensuring customer involvement throughout the development cycle to align expectations and foster collaboration.
