ABOUT JOVAN DONAHUE
Jovan was born and raised in Detroit, and graduated from Henry Ford High School in 1997. Jovan started working at McDonalds in 1995 as a cook then soon was promoted to cashier, and not long after that Jovan began training as an assistant manager. In 1997 Jovan started working for Comerica Bank at there LOC (Livonia Operation Center) and McDonalds at the same time. At Comerica Bank Jovan worked in the Work Prep area which consist of prepping checks and delivering them to other departments for processing. Jovan was soon accepted in the Sorter Room department which consist of processing images to the checks by running a machine called a DP 1800. Around 1998 Jovan came across an opportunity to work for a brand new up and coming company called Bridgewater Interiors LLC, and was hired at Bridgewater Interiors LLC on Jan. 25, were he started as a line worker which consist of building seats for the Cadillac Deville. Jovan worked at Comerica Bank and Bridgewater Interiors at the same time until 2002 when he left Comerica Bank. In 2012 Jovan started going to school at University of Phoenix for a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Accounting to peruse a hire quality life. In January 2013 Jovan was promoted to Team Leader which is to Develop proficiency in all area job functions and rotate in (production) job cells into various workstations. Train less experienced seat assemblers/area team members, and perform in production when needed to support production as required. Control processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. Monitor production material quantities and report shortages, and restock areas as needed to ensure proper flow. Perform quality inspections of work in progress. Maintain 5-S standards, good housekeeping and meet quality and efficiency standards. In 2016 I have completed my degree and now work on the finance team at BWI since 2018 to current.
