An award-winning radio presenter, producer and experienced freelance journalist of 25+ years, I’m also a copywriter with a genuine love of music, film, radio, and TV. I present on Magic, Mellow Magic Breakfast and Magic At The Musicals, and previously for Planet Rock, Virgin Radio Chilled, Virgin Radio UK, BBC Derby and Heart Yorkshire I’m an Entertainment and Music Writer for the Metro newspaper, LADbible, Tyla, Metal Hammer, Kerrang and more. I also record audiobooks and have a studio at home. An experienced writer of more than 25 years for national and local publications (Daily Star, Rolling Stone, The Hook, NME, The Nottingham Post, Exclusive Magazine, Rock Sound, The Fly, AOL Eleven, Yahoo, Big Cheese, Things & Ink, Bring The Noise, Buzzfeed, The Times, and others) I started my career by teaching myself HTML and creating an online magazine at the age of 13. I graduated with a first-class degree in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University on their BJTC accredited course in 2018. Winner of 6 Student Radio Awards, including Gold for Best Female Presenter 2016, Gold for Best Specialist Presenter 2017, Silver for Best Chart Show 2017, Silver for Best Journalistic 2018, and Bronze for Best Interview 2017. I was also shortlisted and nominated for two BJTC awards and a Mind Media Award for my mental health and music documentary When The Music Stops. @jenthomasradio
