Dedicated to serving newcomer populations and building an inclusive and welcoming community in Alberta, I’ve spent the past 7 years engaging with newcomers, evaluating programs, and working in community-based research. My interest in serving marginalized populations is deeply personal, stemming from my own experience as a refugee frequently facing structural racism and systemic barriers. As a Research and Policy Associate, I have evaluated numerous programs across diverse sectors, including health and the newcomer-serving sector. My expertise lies in community engagement, combating racism, program evaluation, and data storytelling. These skills empower me to drive meaningful change and create lasting impact.
