As Facilities & Operations Supervisor, I am accountable for leading a 3-member team of facilities associates to manage all facility operations, from repair and maintenance to budgeting, upkeep, procurement, hospitality services, special events, and security.I ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of a five-floor, 235,412 sq. ft. office space. I also conduct daily facility inspections and walk-throughs, maintaining facilities records and ensuring smooth workflows.Some of my key contributions include: Trained team members to close knowledge/skill gaps, holding them accountable via periodic performance evaluations. Worked with the operations manager to create an annual budget for departmental cost centers, conducting monthly reviews of cost center reports to identify and explain budget variances. Administered the facilities budget, ensuring the optimal allocation and utilization of organizational resources. Worked with engineers and the senior property manager to ensure the efficient, uninterrupted operation of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment. Deployed a security system with zero issues. Managed space planning projects, including in-office moves, new hire setups, and construction projects. Currently renovating 3 floors, creating mockup drawings to optimize floor layouts. Orchestrated floor plan placement for new hires, minimizing the number of moves and reducing costs by up to $6K per move. Managed and supervised vendors, collaborating on projects or office events. Led vendor negotiations to secure highly competitive pricing, warranties, and contract terms or conditions. Successfully maintained a 100% retention rate for the entire team.
