Thesis Mentor: Peter Choi, PhDProject Title: Investigating the p53-dependent effects of Cdc-like kinase inhibitionMy project aims to elucidate the mechanisms through which Cdc-like kinases (CLKs) influence cellular responses to stress through the p53 pathway. Given their role in regulating alternative splicing, I am studying how specific splicing events may be central to understanding how CLKs drive cell fate decisions upon stress.
