About Joslyn Cunningham
I am a native of Indianapolis, born and raised on the Far Eastside. My lived experiences propelled me to be the community connector I am today and guided me through my divine journey while making a meaningful impact. I am an expert in finding interconnected themes across various industries to uplift innovative collaboration. My previous work experience includes utilizing our neighbors\' voices to create programs and resources, creating sustainable plans for organizational expansion, and streamlining operational needs by rebuilding functional processes. My passion and calling are centered on my dedication to the community. I am a doula and reproductive health educator who loves making connections to support and advocate for all people and their families. My background in reproductive justice and social activism allows me to utilize my voice and uplift my neighbors\' voices to make the world, at large, aware of systemic barriers that could be reimagined. As an aspiring applied social scientist, my goals and purpose are rooted in designing evidence-based frameworks rooted in pleasure and identity liberation that can be applied within programs and institutes. Tying data and research directly to communities and elevating their stories is how we find communal success and create the path to collective healing. My overall skills and desire to continually grow have allowed me to learn so much in such a short period and my long-standing goal is to ALWAYS grow and find time to learn more along the way.
