ABOUT JOSIE LIM

I never wanted to be an accountant. I always loved working with people and being in customer service and I just didn\'t think that the accounting profession would be able to offer that to me. I couldn\'t have been more wrong.Fast forward 13 years after graduating from university, throughout my career at KPMG I\'ve has the privilege of working with the most amazing teams and clients in our audit practice. I got to build a career around industries that I have always loved (technology and hospitality), and travel while doing it. I have been mentored by some of the smartest and most caring people I have ever met, and when I decided to explore other opportunities within KPMG, I received so much support from the mentors that I had always looked up to.I spent one year as the Talent Attraction Senior Manager at KPMG leading our Campus Recruitment team develop recruitment strategies and executing recruiting events. I\'m very proud to have been able to help attract students to KPMG and the CPA profession.One of the best parts of my role as an Audit Senior Manager is that I get to choose my path and find my own definition of what success means to me. I encourage you to ask me about my experiences with mentorship, designing and facilitating training sessions, business development, and my role as a Director of CPABC. Outside of work, I’m an avid golfer, a “real” foodie, and I love hiking with my dog Russell. Can’t wait to connect with you!
