Game Anglia is a social enterprise supporting young people and indie developers across the East of England to gain skills, experience, and access within the games and digital industries.As an Advisory Director, I help shape education strategy, sector partnerships and youth-focused programmes — ensuring that creative tech careers feel reachable for young people of all backgrounds.I bring my experience in CEIAG, SEND, and inclusive curriculum development to help break down barriers and open up real-world opportunities — especially in rural or underrepresented communities. From advising on bids and projects, to helping schools and stakeholders build bridges into the sector, I act as a critical friend with a firm grip on both access and ambition.Key responsibilities:• Shaping youth pathways into games and digital careers, especially for SEND and underrepresented groups• Supporting strategic planning, funding bids, and programme development• Advising on partnerships across education, local authorities, and industry• Promoting diversity, co-production and accessibility in project design• Contributing to evaluation frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and impact reportingThis role lets me blend CEIAG with creativity — supporting a future where young people can build lives in industries that excite them, not just the ones they fall into by default.

ABOUT JOSIE FINCH RCDP
I’m a values-led, Level 6 careers professional with over 20 years’ experience across education, youth work, local government and the third sector. I specialise in inclusive programme design, partnership development, and creating environments where people are seen, supported and able to thrive.I currently lead Suffolk’s Work Inspiration and Careers agenda, coordinating cross-sector partners to improve transitions, reduce NEET risk and widen access to meaningful opportunities. My focus is on those too often left behind – young people with SEND, care experience, or those who don’t fit neatly into the mainstream.My background spans mainstream and specialist education, arts-led youth engagement and local economic development. I’ve worked at every stage of the careers journey – from one-to-one guidance to strategic programme delivery – and bring that mix of practical experience and systems thinking into everything I do.Alongside this, I have worked as a Level 6 Independent End-Point Assessor assessing apprentices against the national Career Development Professional standard. This role has given me valuable insight into professional standards, workforce development and the evolving practice of careers guidance.I also sit on governance and advisory boards and co-run Meeple Gayming, a queer board games collective centred around belonging, visibility and joy.I use skills in active listening, inclusive leadership and strategic questioning to drive change. I’m known for being values-driven, solutions-focused and positively disruptive – especially when systems stop working for the people they’re meant to serve.I’m increasingly interested in how creativity, play and community can help people explore their futures. Whether through careers education, board games, storytelling or reflective practice, I believe the most powerful guidance helps people see possibilities they didn’t realise were open to them.I sometimes describe my role as being a cartographer of possibilities – helping people map futures they didn’t know they could navigate.Because careers work is never just about jobs. It’s about voice, identity, motivation – and whether the world makes space for you.And because your starting hand shouldn’t define your future.
