ABOUT JOSIE BERRY
I recently completed my Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at the University of British Columbia, where I was part of the Engineers in Scrubs (EiS) program. Through EiS, I collaborated with clinicians to identify unmet needs in the operating room and developed innovative solutions for paediatric surgery. Our team recently presented at the Canadian Association of Paediatric Surgeons conference in late September. My academic and professional journey has been driven by a passion for improving quality of life through medical devices and innovation. I previously graduated from UBC with a BASc in Biomedical Engineering (with distinction), and I’ve gained valuable industry experience through roles at Stryker and St. Paul’s Hospital.
