Reporter/Editor assigned to CBC\'s \"Afternoon Drive\" daily radio program across Southwestern Ontario. In my current role, I act as a reporter, radio technician and assistant producer for the show. I additionally publish local and national web articles for CBC News and appear on a weekly regional television segment, “Week’s End with Josiah.” My day-to-day includes- Chasing and pitching original, local stories from the community- Interviewing guests from various backgrounds and experiences- Guest hosting the program, alongside occasional syndicated talk tapes to highlight my reporting- Scriptwriting for radio and writing and publishing original digital news content- Building a daily show line up with original content in a team role, supporting both the host and the producer team- Running the sound board, call and text lines, social media, and tech systems for the radio broadcast for a 2-hour programming slot every day- On-air presence/personality with interviews, traffic reporting, and regular banter.
