About Josh Thomas
I\'m currently a junior at the University of Iowa double majoring in Finance & Accounting. I began my time in college as an Exercise Science student, successfully navigating many weed-out Biology and Chemistry courses on the pre-medicine track. My interest in Finance was sparked when I had the opportunity to collaborate with the College of Medicine\'s Finance department in Summer 2024, working as a Recruitment Marketing Intern on the FM-TIPS study. Although I am no longer a STEM major, I apply the same sense of scientific curiosity and analytical thinking to Finance as I formerly did to Exercise Science. I\'ve especially learned a lot from my experience as the Secretary of the Quantitative Finance Club, a rapidly growing organization that welcomes everyone from first-year undergrads to PhD students. Our executive board has represented Quant Club all across the country, presenting at places like Principal, CME Group, and Case Western Reserve University. I\'m excited to combine my analytical mindset with financial knowledge as I further explore the world of finance.
