Leads the delivery of varsity home game night requirements both on-campus (indoor sports) and off-campus (outdoor sports)-Responsible for supervision, set-up and tear-own of equipment for both on and off-campus games-Acts as the primary liaison for visiting college teams on-site-Accurately records and reports statistics post-game according to league parameters and requirements for submission-Develops and coordinates in-game engagement opportunities for fans-Trains, schedules and oversees event staff in the execution of games (i.e. minor officials, statisticians, announcer, promotions staff, mascot, etc.) to ensure proper application of sport rules for scoring, statistics tracking, game operations, league reporting, other-Leads the planning, organizing and execution of major varsity athletic events in consultation with other Athletics staff-Responsible for the non-digital promotion of the Athletics & Recreation Department, including physical information sharing and in-person advertising for varsity games, intramural and extramural events, recreation, fitness, memberships, athletic facilities, tournaments, etc-Assists with the development and delivery of the annual department Marketing/Promotions Plan to promote andsupport varsity athletics and campus recreation activities planned for the health and wellness of the student body and College Community-Coordinates various fundraising campaigns and initiatives to support revenue generation for varsity teams and the overall varsity scholarship program-Works in coordination the George Brown College Alumni Relations Department to maintain an accurate and up to date athletics alumni database and alumni communication tools, supported by data provided by Varsity Coordinators.
