ABOUT JOSHUA SIROIS
Joshua is a Master of Arts Candidate in Counseling at Adler University specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Upon licensure, they hope to promote wellness within the LGBTQ+ community by working directly with individuals, couples, throuples+ to work through challenges big and small. Joshua currently works at Arcus Behavioral Health and Wellness as a Social Justice Intern via Adler\'s Social Justice Practicum, focusing on bolstering community engagement and development efforts.Prior to entering graduate school, Joshua served as a Senior Director in Modern Executive Solutions\' Organizational Consulting group, specializing in building and implementing data-driven, human-centered strategies to address challenges related to talent acquisition and management; organizational design, operating model, and culture; diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB); and more. Before joining Modern, Joshua worked as a Senior Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. In this role, they served Fortune 500 companies, governmental entities, and colleges and universities undergoing cultural, technological, and enterprise-wide transformations. Joshua published McKinsey perspectives on learning technologies for remote/hybrid education and support for LGBTQ+ students, led the North America analyst program, and founded an interoffice network for underrepresented colleagues in the Midwest.Joshua received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, majoring in Global Business, minoring in Women’s and Gender Studies, and completing a certificate in Spanish. In their senior year, Joshua was named a Fulbright Scholar and later completed the fellowship in Gran Canaria, Spain.Joshua is committed to promoting equity, queer rights and representation, and joy within and beyond the workplace.
