About Josh Pond
I counsel clients on intellectual property challenges and opportunities, here at the cross-roads of U.S. IP in Washington D.C. I litigate patents and IP before the U.S. International Trade Commission, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the Eastern District of Virginia, and around the country. With this trial perspective, I advise startups and corporations on IP portfolio strategy, to bolster them for upcoming enforcement challenges. Over the past decade, I have been to ITC trial for a dozen Fortune Global 500 companies. I was a founding Editor of the ITC Trial Lawyers Association’s 337 Reporter Round-Up. Chambers & Partners has listed me in their USA and Global editions for \"International Trade: IP Section 337\" since 2019.I married a teacher and we\'ve got a Tulane grad son and a thespian senior at Christopher Newport. For fun I travel, sail, and stand-up-paddle. Prior to practicing law, I served as a United States Marine Corps artillery officer. I now fight for Veterans pro bono.
