Passionate about science and technology, I am looking for a new opportunity to learn. I was new to both the Service Contract, Insurance, Retail, and Energy industries when I took positions in each and excelled in my roles while there. I enjoy being challenged and working to solve business problems with an eye towards the next few probable requests.Previously I was responsible for technical direction of Alternative User Interfaces for Point-of-Sale focusing on Mobile Checkout and Self Checkout. My current team and I taught ourselves Swift and completed our portion of a large program months ahead of schedule. I was the primary Architect for Target\'s US Point of Sale Solutions and involved in selection of the new Point of Sale solution for Canadian Target stores as well as the product chosen to replace the US Point of Sale prior to a strategic change in direction. Control Area Scheduling (CAS) deals with accepting and validating Energy Trading Tags (e-Tags), resulting in an energy transfer or generation schedule.Energy Accounting (EAS) tracks the results of e-Tag trading and scheduling for reconciliation between transfer parties.COMPASS is a newly acquired Outage Management software solution that gathers, submits, and tracks outages of equipment in the customer\'s control.Hosted Data Services (HDS) is a reporting platform with a near real time copy of customer data for every MCG application they use that can be used to run complex queries without impacting the performance of the source system.Work Item Viewer (WIV) is a filtered customer view into the Change Tracking tool, allowing customers a view into pertinent fields to track status.• Pushed to move Support personnel closer to development to increase visibility of change impact and reduce customer incidents• Pruned and prioritized backlog for each owned application, reducing open work items from hundreds to tens, resulting in increased productivity and clarity on priority• Drove to completion the first releases of applications in over a year, providing customers with enhanced stability as well as over 100 additional features• Implemented a B2B Customer Support SaaS solution, replacing an email only solution allowing customers to see ticket history, ensuring no emailed issues were missed by Support• Worked with key Support personnel to ensure their job responsibilities could still be met during and after transition to the SaaS product• Developed an interface application that used SaaS provider\'s RESTful APIs and MS Team Foundation Server SDK to Automate Work Item Creation, Synchronize status and post updates to related support tickets, and close tickets when work items closed• Participated in the acquisition of a software company for their application and expertise
