From starting my own business at the ripe age of 12, selling sodas to construction workers in my neighborhood, to directing natural food cooperatives over the last ten years, I have continuously nurtured my entrepreneurial spirit – and hope to take my passion and knowledge to the next level.I discovered my passion and talent for business development from my experience as the Director of Information Systems of one natural food store and the general manager of two other natural food stores; as well as the board president of a successful non-profit that provides support to locally owned independent businesses. My strengths include business planning and budgeting, financial analysis, problem solving, contract negotiation, marketing, team building, and change enablement.As an innovative thinker, I take pride in knowing when to throw the rulebook out the window and think outside the box. I thrive on initiative and enjoy stimulating projects. As an individual who is able to work in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects at once, I believe that it is important to remember that great ideas and insights come from anyone and anywhere. I am an enthusiastic and emotionally intelligent leader who enjoys inspiring motivation and creativity in others.
