About Joshua Glasser
As a Mechanical Test Engineer at Ethicon’s surgical robotics division. I apply my background in Biomedical Engineering to run tests and experiments in the lab with complex tools and instruments. I have hands-on experience in feasibility, tensile compression, and other testing methods, and I perform documentation and lab maintenance tasks.Previously, I was a New Product Development Engineer at Classique Eyewear and a Design Transfer Engineer at Cue Health, where I specialized in 3D design and product development for biotech, electronics, and medical device industries. I designed, prototyped, tested, and revised eyewear frames and biometric components, using SolidWorks, 3D printing, and injection molding techniques. I also evaluated components for quality and performance validation, drafted technical documentation, and collaborated with component manufacturers. I contributed to saving the company time and money by developing a new process that reduced defective product by units and designing a new R&D inspection meter that improved product robustness.I am passionate about creating innovative products that can enhance people\'s health and well-being, and I am eager to learn new skills and challenge myself daily. I am looking for opportunities to grow as a biomedical engineer and to work on cutting-edge projects that can advance science and technology.
