My role is to support the day-to-day Trust compliance with the Freedom Of Information Act & Environmental Information Regulations as well as the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. I support the Information Governance Manager in maintaining the Trust\'s reputation as a responsible and credible organisation that maintains the highest standards of information governance. • Managed and processed Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) requests within the 20-working day deadline, ensuring compliance and transparency • Responded to internal reviews of Freedom of Information (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) requests, evaluating exemptions and arguments in favour of public interest to comply with the 20-working day deadline • Reviewed information governance policies, procedures and guidance, identified areas for improvement and implemented changes that resulted in enhanced compliance • Assisted in developing and maintaining appropriate levels of Trust-wide data protection and information governance education and training • Collaborated with project leads to complete Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA), ensuring compliance by identifying and mitigating potential risks • Administered 700+ individual right requests within the deadline in accordance with UK GDPR regulations • Conducted cookie audits of multiple Trust-owned websites to ensure compliance with PECR regulations and to uphold data privacy • Aided Information Asset Owners (IAO’s) and all Trust colleagues in matters in relation to Information Governance, data protection, records management, and information security • Improved records management to enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness • Utilised root cause analysis to investigate and analyse data breaches, leading to the identification and resolution of underlying issues
