ABOUT JOSHUA MENEZ

I am a native of the Kansas City metropolitan area who now lives in the Denver Metropolitan area. My experience involves working at a major communications company where I negotiated transactional real estate matters. In addition, I have worked for a personal injury firm where I gained invaluable experience handling a variety of civil matters ranging from automobile accidents to complex product liability cases involving several defendants. In 2007, I joined the Public Defender’s Office where I gained an enormous amount of experience representing and defending the constitutional rights of others. Furthermore, I have represented over a hundred clients at any given time handling complex legal matters. In addition, during my tenure with the Public Defender’s Office, I had the opportunity to conduct trials and presentations by being a part of over 35 trials. Over the years, I have represented thousands of individuals with charges ranging from DWI to murder in the first degree. I also have experience with running my own business. I opened up my firm in 2015 where I was responsible for not only representing clients but developing my own business as well. My firm specialized in criminal matters, DWI, landlord/tenant issues, business startup matters, and intellectual property matters. In addition, I had the opportunity to work at Epiq as an attorney in the document review and litigation support department. While at Epiq, I gained a vast amount of experience in electronic discovery working on a variety of complex litigation matters including high-level antitrust matters, pharmaceutical litigation, consumer protection litigation, intellectual property litigation, Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice investigations, as well as complex federal class action litigation, involving issues of tort, contract, real-estate, ethics, HIPPA, regulatory / compliance, healthcare, patent infringement and international law.
