Notable Achievements: • Professionally acting as the first point of contact for key accounts while implementing innovative solutions to resolve issues within a timely manner • Strategically developing intuitive project specific documentation while ensuring all areas meet the needs and requirements of the clients • Successfully organising the work program while collaborating with company representatives to ensure the execution of the required contractual tasks are carried out within budget and in a timely manner Key Projects: • Project management of geotechnical investigation for SSE to aid in design of offshore wind farm on Arklow Bank, Irish Sea. • OPM of geotechnical investigation on behalf of Petronas for Jack-Up rig assessment for O&G well in Gulf of Mexico, Mexico. • OPM of geotechnical investigation for Shell New Energy to aid in design of offshore wind farm in Massachusetts, USA.

ABOUT JOSHUA DAVIES
I successfully completed an IOSH Incident Management and APM Project Management course in February 2020. Prior to these qualifications, I obtained the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification. During my time at Plymouth University, I secured a first-degree qualification in Applied Geology. Throughout my academic career, I developed core skills and knowledge that easily transferrable across most engineering and exploration industries. Alongside my studies, I have been further enhancing knowledge within a professional environment and now have over 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager. During my time with Geoquip Marine, I professionally acted as the first point of contact for key accounts while implementing innovative solutions to resolve issues within a timely manner. Additionally, I strategically developed intuitive project specific documentation while ensuring all areas meet the needs and requirements of the client. Furthermore, I actively design and organise the Project Management Plan while collaborating with client representatives as well as onshore and offshore stakeholders to ensure a professional execution of the contractual tasks while maintaining a strict budget and project schedule. Previously, as a Project Manager for Terravision Exploration, I strategically worked and collaborated with industry leading experts to conduct and manage various high profile exploration projects relating to operational, technical, HSE and security. In this role, I demonstrated a high level of attention to detail when managing and approving all project related costs and asset management. During my time with the organisation, I professionally acted as the first point of contact for clients, I developed innovative solutions to resolve all issues within a timely manner. As an Operational Project Manager and Exploration Geologist, I strategically managed and consulted on complex geophysical and geospatial projects, I effectively communicated and liaised with multiple teams to deliver all projects within a timely manner. Additionally, I demonstrated advanced knowledge of conducting, managing and consulting on a range of projects while accurately analysing geophysical and geotechnical investigations. Furthermore, I significantly improved the project management capabilities within the organisation from business case to completion by continuously monitoring milestone reports while keeping to strict budget parameters.
