ABOUT JOSHUA MORGAN

Full-Stack software developer specializing in JavaScript, React, Node/Express, and NextJS. Solving problems through code and creating incredible user experiences on the web through accessible and performant applications is what I do. Proficient in developing dynamic web applications from inception to deployment, I bring a passion for coding and a solid foundation in full-stack development. In architecting applications, I aim for testable, scalable, and delightful code with a focus on building robust, wonderful components within a structure organized by function over feature. For testing applications, I’ve used Jest and React Testing Library; my recent project incorporated Cypress. My current learning experience (React Job Simulator) focuses on new technologies and working in a professional development team. I’ve teamed up with a Sr. React Developer to develop job readiness skills. The program focuses on learning a professional git workflow, working on existing codebase, building an UI kit based on Figma designs, documenting components with Storybook, writing automated tests with Cypress, and implementing features requests from a Kanban board.You can check out my current work in “Projects” and “Experience” below.
