Josh Birkholz is a leader in big philanthropy and innovator for the business of fundraising. In over two decades of consulting the leading nonprofits, universities, and healthcare centers around the globe, Josh has redefined how we look at modern program design, fundraising in a smart economy, transformational campaign management, and data-informed strategy. He is the author of the Wiley publications, Fundraising Analytics (2008) and Benefactors (2022).Josh recently chaired the Giving USA Foundation board. He is an instructor at the Rice University Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. He has the Crystal Apple Award for Teaching Excellence from CASE.
