I am currently on the path with the view of joining the honoured tradition of being a barrister specifically within the areas of Family Law and Criminal Law and being part of the ever growing and ever changing legal system within England and Wales. I am a Teesside University Law graduate. I have been very dedicated and passionate towards my three year undergraduate studies through constant improvement of my assignments and exams through the feedback and support of my tutors which has helped me to be on track to gain a degree that is at the level needed for a career at the Bar. Throughout my undergraduate studies I have found a passion in many modules including Administrative Law, Civil Liberties and Human Rights, Criminal Law, Law Clinic, Law of Civil and Criminal Evidence, Family Law and Litigation and Advocacy. I am currently in the process of taking on more experiences to enhance my advocacy to a higher level than where it is currently at. I have been afforded many opportunities to engage in legal experience and enhance my knowledge of the legal profession and learn about roles outside of the role of barrister and solicitor as well learn about careers outside of the legal field. These opportunities include- Work Experience both in person and virtually in solicitor firms- Mooting- Debating- Mini-Pupillage’s- Networking and Formal Events- Observing many Crown Court and Magistrates Court proceedings- Volunteering with the Teesside University Law Clinic Court Support Service at Teesside Family Court.Throughout university, I have taken on many leadership roles including former Chair of the Teesside University Law Society 22/23, former Vice - Chair of Communications and Interim Chair of the Teesside Performing Arts Society, former Student Co - Chair of the Student Experience Sub Committee, former Course Representative, former Deputy Student Co - Chair of the Student Representative Forum and former Deputy Co - Chair of the Student Experience Sub Committee. Currently I am school representative, student trustee of the Teesside University Student Union, student ambassador and Chair of Teesside University Law Society 25/26.Outside of my academics, I have a passion for musical theatre, both watching and partaking, reading and swimming.
