Substantively, I lead a federally funded research program in health services and policy research, using epidemiologic designs to improve safety and quality of care, reduce disparities in access, and provide evidence on the comparative effectiveness of treatment options for vulnerable patient populations. Methodologically, I have extensive expertise conducting secondary data analyses using a wide range of administrative claims databases and federal surveys.
